Dr. Aparna Baruah is a consultant radiologist, currently working at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, Western Australia. She completed her bachelor of medicine and surgery from India in 1996, and migrated to the UK in 1998 to pursue further training. She now lives in Perth, Australia, since 2009. She is passionate about dance, yoga and meditation.

As a multidimensional woman, mother of two, she has diverse interests with a parallel career in professional music. Aparna is passionate about engaging and inspiring the newer generation. She is a role model to show that one can pursue their passions and have a healthy work-life balance. Her mantra is: Create the life you want in your vision board first, and, We can have it all. Her creative facets, along with her spiritual self, took her to an inward journey during COVID-19.

The feeling of losing control as a doctor, as a human being and losing her parents, conceived this book. She wrote a collection of short stories, a catharsis for her soul, and was guided by intuition, synchronicities and a deeper faith. Dr. Aparna Baruah is the author of the book Forget Me Not, a collection of short stories, and she is also a contributing author to Women Leading the Way published by Women Changing the World Press. Like the flower, the stories in this book embody good memories, love and joy.
